Privacy policy
Clipwipe has no server that touches your files, so most of this policy is about what does not happen. Here is the whole picture.
Your videos
Your video files are never uploaded. When you drop a file into Clipwipe, the browser reads it from your disk, decodes it, removes the watermark, and re-encodes it in memory on your own machine, using your browser's built-in video engine (WebCodecs). No copy of the file, no frame of it, and no information derived from it is sent anywhere.
Nothing is stored either. Close or reload the tab and the file and its result are gone. There is no queue, no cache, and no history. You can verify all of this: load the page, disconnect from the internet, and clean a video, it still works.
Accounts and cookies
There are no accounts, so there is nothing to sign into and no personal data to hold. Clipwipe sets no cookies and stores nothing in local storage.
What the pages do request
Fonts, styles, icons and the app code are all served from this site, so loading a page contacts no one else. There is exactly one third-party request, unrelated to your files:
- Analytics come from Simple
Analytics (
scripts.simpleanalyticscdn.com), which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. It records aggregate figures such as page, referrer, country and browser. It does not track you across other websites.
It has no access to your video, because your video never leaves the tab.
